Together with television scriptwriter David Hoskins, Chantal created the  Horace & Nim series. After 5 stories were published in Redan's popular children's magazine, Horace and Nim got their own books, published by Hubble & Hattie Kids!

"The Lucky, Lucky, Leaf"
It’s a windy autumn day and the friends are out catching falling leaves for luck. Nim wants to break his all time record of five lucky leaves before tea time. But the more leaves he catches the more accidents he has catching them. Forget breaking records, will Nim survive till teatime?

“A truly heart-warming story about friendship and counting your blessings with endearing humour and classic illustrations"  The Library Girl and Book Boy

available from Amazon ukAmazon USA,  Hubble & Hattie or your local bookshop.
"Positive Thinking for Piglets"
When cool cousin Reg tells Kay that she can have anything she wants, if she wants it badly enough, Kay is not totally convinced. But she gives it a try. Sure enough, getting her heart’s desire (a freshly-baked acorn pie) proves more than a little frustrating. A great introduction to metaphysics for the precocious four to six year old!

"Heartwarming!" - Kid's Books We Love

"Edie's Little White Lie"
When Edie tells Kay that “Actually, I love your singing voice,” she wasn’t expecting Kay to run off and enter a talent show. She was just trying to cheer up her best friend after Polecat Mac said how terrible her voice was (and it’s seriously not good). Those judges can be pretty cruel, and audiences even worse. Will Kay blame Edie when everyone laughs at her? Can their friendship survive? Horace and Nim try to help out, but things look pretty grim for the well-meaning duck.
"Edie’s Little White Lie is a wonderful stimulus for a meaningful conversation about being responsible for the feelings of others." - Robin Youl, Teacher and Librarian
